Intuit Recruitment Process

You may have to appear in 3-5 rounds to reach the last round & finally get selected for the software development role.

Written Round

There are several technical MCQ-based questions asked in the written round, as well as three coding questions. The prime objective of this round is to test your knowledge of data structures and algorithms. While writing the code, consider all boundary cases. The most essential test cases they seek are boundary cases. This will go on for around 60 minutes.

Technical Rounds (Minimum 2 Rounds)

Students who pass the written exam are invited to the Technical Round. This round is mostly concerned with data structures and algorithms. You could be quizzed on DBMS, Operating System, Networking, and OOPs topics as well.

Questions about your projects, problems experienced, and how you overcome those hurdles might also be expected from your Resume. Students in computer science will be expected to write on a topic or two so make sure you are well-versed with that. You might even be asked to solve some puzzles around coding.

Have a look at the kind of questions that were asked in Intuit Interview:

  • Two binary numbers as linked lists. Add them and give results as a linked list.
  • Sort a stack in ascending order, using only another stack.
  • Given an array of integers. Output is an array where the value at index i is the product of all other numbers except the one at position i in the original array.

Practice Interview Coding Questions to solidify your knowledge on Strings, Arrays, Dynamic programming & more.

HR Round

It will consist of the basic HR questions. From your introduction to your strengths and weaknesses, you should be able to answer these questions confidently. You should practice speaking in front of the mirror if conversing in English seems like a difficult task to you. HR round will be mostly about analyzing your communication skills, body language and understanding what your career goals are like. Some questions may look like this:

  • Tell us about yourself
  • What are your strengths and weaknesses
  • Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years

To Sum Up…

The more experience and solid learning you have around the subject, the better chances you will have of clearing the interview in one go. If you make it a point to have an overview of what is required of you and learn everything by heart, it will be a cakewalk for you! To solidify your coding skills, you can enroll in PrepBytes Expert Coder Programs too. This will also boost your Resume and chances of getting hired by the company.
